Root sports needs to stop the flashing ads under the score/time box... Super annoying.

Mine's good.
interesting... no other channel is bad but nhln..
When mine came on I thought there was something horribly wrong with the feed but it was just an Ovie close up.
well played, i usually have to mute the pens/caps games because they always choose the washington feed but this chopiness is borderline unwatchable

Not as annoying as when they shoot to the crowd doing a cheer and missing a faceoff.

Exactly! He was brought here to SHOOT THE PUCK! We have plenty of people who are willing to defer to the big guns, why is he here?

Great first period...the key, of course, is to continue this throughout the game

Oft-injured Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro left practice Wednesday after taking a puck to the facemask, a team spokesman confirmed.
The 30-year-old netminder, who has backed up Al Montoya the first two games this season, will undergo an evaluation.
DiPietro missed six weeks last season due to facial fractures suffered in a fight with Penguins backup goaltender Brent Johnson in February.

That was one of those periods where you feel nervous because the lead should be more than one. Pens need to keep the momentum early in the second, giving up an equalizer would be a huge let down.

Yeah, you almost expect for the Caps to come out screaming in this period. Hold the fort.

Good first period.
They said on the radio side that this is one of those period where they dominated, but only have a 1 goal lead, and the Caps are going to adjust.

ESPN's headline?
DiPietro leaves practice after being hit by puck
