LOL when I'm not able to stay up for games and wake up in the morning I always know whether or not the Pens won based on the number of pages in the GDT.

i was moaning at the tv over this very thing. it's a stupid superstition, but it seems to jinx a goalie more times than not. having said that, fleury turned the last 2 minutes of the game into a gong show. guy just loses focus at the weirdest moments. but great game by the boyz overall. the habs looked like they mailed it in until that late push.

good win! getting the 1st goal does the difference in the sans 2 headed monster era.
Dear Flower, great saves in the 1st to set the tone!
Welcome back Brooks and Jeffers( as neal called him)
Congrats again to Hal Gill. In the pg today, quotes from him
Someone was asking me what the highlights [of my career] were," Gill said. "I think there's only one. You play to win. You get one Cup, and you want more."
The Penguins had a brief tribute to Gill in the game.
"I love the fans here," he said. "They understand the game. They understand hard work. They appreciate that."And I think when I was here, I tried to do that, to work hard, and I think they appreciated that. I miss the fans here."

What I get from that?

Seemed a bit easy, MAF made it that way...
Would like for them to start covering the high slot in the defensive zone...
Other than that, solid win against a good goaltender.

While he didn't show up on the score sheet, i thought Jeffery played a very good first game back and the kids got a nose for the puck. The kid has a nose for the puck, i noticed him a few times around the net with a chance to score. I think his future on this team is as a winger. If Kennedy is out for a while with a concussion and crosby and malkin are back, i could see him as a winger either working with Kunitz and Crosby or working with Staal and Cooke
