In a nutshell, it gives you a very, very slight boost in strength and makes your muscles retain a bit more water.

I don't know for sure because i've never used it, but i think thats the stuff that makes your body process protein more efficiently. I think it seems to be something more for someone who is looking for bulk as opposed to strength or fitness. Most of these things seem that way to me actually. I wouldn't take protein if I consumed enough of it in a day for my body to properly recover from workouts.

I've been told about creatine. I used it before, it was ok for strength, I gained about 10 pounds but it was water weight, not fat.
I have heard great things about BCAA http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/3-main-reasons-you-need-to-use-bcaas.htm

Sure, that sounds accurate. It sounds worthless to me.
crokin wrote:Trust me, BCAA's are the best thing to do, better than protein powder.
BCAA=Branched Chained Amino Acids which greatly help with protein synthesis.
Ever seen people drinking something red or pink during their exercise?
That's BCAAs.

I've heard great stories though on it:

They have a recommended cycle which includes other supplements in the "stack" to make sure you are ok.
I've been tempted to, but never have actually gone through.
