Evening everyone. Hopefully in the time it takes me to write this preamble, no more Penguins get injured. No guarantees. The goal at this point is to simply get to the playoffs in one piece. The good news is that Letang is returning tonight. He's been missed greatly on the blue line- I don't know if anyone truly questioned his value previously, but it's been confirmed with his absence. The really good news is that Geno Malkin seems to have remembered he's pretty much unstoppable at hockey and has played like it. Let's hope that continues tonight, as the Pens could really use a win against an elite team, which certainly applies to the Rangers.
This is the kind of energy I expect from you people tonight:
This is a big game- it's too early to call anything a must-win, but the Pens need to win games like this at some point instead of simply acting like the Capitals and beating up on weak SE Division teams. Let's act like it.
