Shoulda been a penalty on Kovalchuk, but Martin needs to commit a penalty to stop Kovy once hes beaten IMO.

Just think, if it wasn't a complete garageleague, it would be 2-1 right now.

Game over. Devils dominate Pens again (nothing to see here, move along ...)
Now they're bringing Johnson in, finally. Fleury should have frozen that.
maybe not over, thank you Niskanen.
Overpowered? He got held. Not overpowered.

That, folks, is why referees shouldn't let clear penalties go just because one team is already on the power play. There's absolutely no way that play can count for a Devils goal that's in any way remotely fair. If the Pens are shorthanded, could they chainsaw a guy to death and have it let go? Sheesh.

Didn't they say something yesterday about the officials considering allowing more obstruction to slow down the pace of the game to avoid big hits? I'd say that's already begun judging by the last couple of games.

If we see them in the playoffs, we should hire his ex wife to sit behind the glass behind him each game.

That non-call has me boiling right now...the league is slowly turning the back to clock to the late 90's-early 2000's.

Martin got held, yes, but that play showed how soft he is. There was no battle or compete level there at all. Kovalchuk wanted the puck more and played more aggressive.
