I think it's just a matter of time before Washington takes over first in that division and the 3rd seed...

Williams is actually very good in shootouts in his career (9/22 coming into tonight) and was one of Detroit's regular shooters.

Didn't watch the game, out of market.
But watching the OSU-Purdue game on ESPN right now and they just plugged "Let's not forget about hockey, Marc-Andre Fleury with an amazing save after the game"
What's this said amazing save?

There were several, actually. He actually had a really good game except for one goal, it's just that it was a really weird, bad goal.

i was expecting to see cooke and his move. williams impressed though.
letang has been very disappointing. he needs to stick to his A1 or A2 moves. he abandoned them for long stretches. especially his backhand. when you can deke and then elevate your backhand you need to use it at least every other attempt.
fleury is nearly unbeatable. he forces precision long range wrist shots - they hit two tonight.

I agree. After the 1st period start in New Jersery. I figured out why I never see O'reilly, because he is never around the net.
Letang please use your shot more. Please -Enjoy the day off.

This is the second time in the last like two weeks that Subban has started or been apart of an altercation and then when confronted he turtles.

I think they'll slow down. The whole season teams have been rising and falling. It wasn't long ago that NJ was out of the playoff picture. Ottawa had gone on a winning streak and climbed up the standings, now they're about to fall out. The same has happened with the Pens. Boston got to the top on a ridiculous pace and has cooled off recently and now are closer to the teams behind them. I suspect that even the Rangers are eventually going to cool off and give the other teams in the Atlantic an opportunity to take the division. That's why we can't get too caught up in the standings based on who's hot. I don't care who's on a winning streak now. The truly good teams will show themselves over a full season.

It's funny. You can see the moment where he's like "Oh ****" and tucks his tail between his legs and tries to get away, only to get tackled.

It must be nice to be in the 9th spot in the Conference and then win one game and jump to 3rd.

Last year playing for the tampa seed didn't work out the way folks thought it would.
Need to wear blinders about their positioning and concentrate more on the on-ice product.
