For those of you that missed the ornaments .. or want to add to the collection :
I like the Pilsner Glass ...

They've got 15 new items with a piece of the roof.

Good lord, no wonder the roof was stripped bare asap!
The coffee mug would be nice, because you use it all the time unlike the christmas ornament.
I like this tray too:

So that logo on the front of the glass is a piece of the roof that's pressed with the Penguins logo? Is that what I'm looking at?

Call me crazy but I'd rather be able to buy a piece of the roof that's just a piece of the roof and not embossed or polished or pressed with a logo. Kind of like when they used to sell pieces of the Berlin Wall with spray paint on them and everything.

Thanks, these are awesome! Would not have known about it otherwise. Went with the 4-pack of glasses.

My thoughts exactly. An ornament or some other nick-nack seems so lame.

They have'nt filled orders for the ornaments that weere sold in December. 8 - 12 week wait because of more orders than expected. In the men time those same busy folks have introduced a new collection.

How do we know that this metal actually came from the civic arena roof and not some other scrap metal pile laying around...I agree with the above statements, as a collector it would have much more value as an untampered piece of roof than it does as a nick nack.

Some of the items say they'll ship by Feb/March and others say they will ship Winter 2012. What does Winter 2012 mean?

I thought I remember hearing that they weren't doing too good, but all the business the Pens were giving them were helping out a local company.

I already have an ornament, and the STH key ring. Yet I would definitely buy just a piece of untreated roof. Stamped only with the date/time the Arena opened and closed.
That actually would have more sentimental value for me.

The origional place burned down about 2 months or so before the final game at the civic arena. I'm guessing the organization figured they would give them a helping hand.

I went with the 4 pack of glasses. I missed the window on the ornaments. If anyone bought extra that they are looking to unload, please let me know. Would love to get one.

if you are going to a game anytime soon and are intersted in any of these items just buy them at the arena they are carrying everything and it ends up being cheaper without the shipping charges

odd. pretty sure that's the week I ordered my ornament (certainly not before) and I received mine the Friday before Christmas even though they had told me I wouldn't have it until after Christmas. either I got lucky or you're just unlucky.

Received my 3 ornaments today. Very nice!!
I was curious how new items were introduced. Seems like they were overwhelmed with the ornaments. I see the new items have a waiting period also. Great ideas.
