Thats not random, it does get asked a lot. I knew they were good friends but I ever now I said at the end of the game that man does it ever throw me off every time they show Domi just hanging out at a Pens game.

He's totally not coasting. The guy is a streak scorer. He isn't playing awful. He could have had 2 or 3 goals against Phoenix and he played well tonight minus the stupid penalties.

It was sarcasm. I think it's more a coincidence/regression than an actual belief he's dogging it. Though saying things like "played well minus the stupid penalties" is sorta like asking Mrs. Lincoln about the play.
