Paul Martin with another gem of a defensive play that almost ended up in our net. What a waste of a sweater he can be.

Oh, wait...

So tired of hearing how many shots on goal the pens have. Its a meaningless stat when you give no effort on defense.

Fleury's also been not even close to his usual self. The goal at the end of the 1st was soft. The 5th goal he came out 15 feet and got himself hurt. Probably concussed. The 4th goal he probably would have stopped on a good night. See, now Thiessen's in goal. If Fleury can't come back for the playoffs, they won't win a round.

I really hate being a downer in my own GDT, but tonight just amplifies what I've been afraid of heading into playoffs - these Penguins are nowhere near a good defensive team; I'm not even sure they're an average defensive team.

I don't mind watching a bad team play to the best of their ability.
The opposite is hard to watch.

Well, the Wild tied it up against the Rangers. A NYR loss tonight would at least keep hope alive despite another mess of a Pens game.

Murphy's Law game right now. Just give it to the Isles and get off the ice before one of our stars gets killed.

Martin is a huge waste of $5 million. Not sure how anyone can argue he's been worth his contract this year.

This game tells you nothing about anything, except maybe that we care more about 1st place than they do.
