I think tonight is a little concerning.

Not even just the players. Didn't like any of the coaching tonight as well. Pointless line switching (last game included) not adjusted the 5-man PP unit after the first debacle...

I'm with you both. Bylsma's strategy is so predictable. The Isles can do ONE thing good, and that is grind. So Bylsma switches his lines, and attempts to have a grinding-type game. By doing this, he takes the skill players out of the equation, asking them to hit and win battles along the boards. It played right into the Isles' hands.

If Letang was in there, they probably win both of the past 2 games. But the team cannot win without him, and that is all there is to it.

I just don't see how the Devils can overtake us at this point. They are still 6 points back with only 5 to go. The Devils only have 4 games left, so they can get 8. All we would need to do is win one or tie twice.

changing the lines had nothing to do with what happened tonight. it was probably always going to be dupuis-sid-kunitz down the stretch. they had to make the change eventually. right after a horrible loss is as good a time as any.

2010-2011: Injuries to 87 and 71

2011-2012: Injury city, have taken > 70% of possible points since All Star Break.

Not sure how you can call that disinterest in winning division titles.
