how cool would this be? Jason Reitman does live shows with different actors reading the scripts of movies (The Breakfast Club, The Apartment, The Princess Bride, Shampoo, and Reservoir Dogs)

His last one is The Big Lebowski with the following cast:

Rainn Wilson will play Walter, originated by John Goodman
Hank Azaria will play Donnie, originated by Steve Buscemi. He’ll also play the P.I. Da Fino and Karl Hungus.
Nick Kroll will play The Jesus, originated by John Turturro. He’ll also play Jackie Treehorn and Tony the chauffeur
Fred Savage replaced Patton Oswalt and will play Brandt, originated by Philip Seymour Hoffman. He’ll also play Smokey and the cop who finds The Dude’s car. He, Kroll and Azaria will together be the Nihilists.
Christina Hendricks will be Maude Lebowki, originated by Julianne Moore.
Catherine Reitman will by Bunny, originated by Tara Reid.

During the first intermission, I watched five minutes of Alexander, which I haven't seen. That might be one of the worst five minutes of American cinema I have ever watched.

Tour de Cassell continues with La Haine. Probably will be able to watch it tonight around 8 pm after it's been determined that there's nothing good on tv. :pop:

The Question is:
What is the last movie that should ever get a sequel?

As someone that enjoyed the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo how likely am I to enjoy the American version?

Kind of surprised 'Goon' is an independent release. Waiting for it come out somewhere other than the Waterfront.

La Haine. Disappoint. Good acting; terrible story. Jodie Foster gets -10 billion points for thinking this film was somehow important enough for her to get behind.

Door in the Floor. Pretty good. I'll know I've made it when I finally score a Jeff Bridges moomoo.

"We're getting set to shoot 'Dumb and Dumber 2' in September," he says. "It's the first sequel we've ever done and we've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back."

"We did not do 'Dumb and Dumberer,'" he continues. "That was a studio thing. So we've always wanted to do a sequel and finally Jim called up. Jeff always wanted to do it. We always wanted to do it. Jim was busy, but he called and said, 'We've got to do this thing again.' He had just watched 'Dumb and Dumber' and he said, 'This is the perfect sequel. Let's do it.'"

Anyone ever see Lifeforce before? I vaguely remember a bit of it from when I was a kid. Netflix decided to ship that randomly (it was on bottom of my list) instead of #1. Better be worth it, reviews say something about a naked vampire terrorizing london, I really don't remember this movie. Tobe Hooper directed though, can't be horrible can it?
