seems like the last few times we play on sunday we always jump out to a 2 goal lead and then we lose it. We did it to the caps and flyers so they need to learn to bury teams.
we should be up like 5-1 right now we cant let this get to 2-2

If Kunitz was in front of the net there, that goal gets disallowed

Yes, that is definitely a penalty, but has been ignored all day.

We all have a lot to come to grips with in the "new canadian improved NHL" as presented by this obvious shift away from the rules of the past few years. Games are officiated to make them interesting,
What an awful call, Talbot puts free hand to slow niskanen, and it goes the other way.

I might have to pull a game 5 of the 2009 SCF and walk out of the room at this point.

Kunitz lasers one...right into Bobrovsky's chest. In fairness I think he was hoping for a rebound.

Not with the way the Pens are playing, but with the blatant non-calls. There's certain stuff I can let go penalty-wise, but the Flyboys are actually knocking down Penguins away from the puck with nothing being called. On the last 2 shifts, Crosby, Kunitz, and Malkin all got taken down while the defenseman had the puck at the point.
I understand they want to keep games close, but this is ridiculous. Either call the rules the way they're written or change the bloody rules.

Talbot still only has 31 points this season despite getting 3rd and sometimes 2nd line minutes. 1 goal in his last 19 games. So glad he's not a Penguin anymore.

I really don't think its that rare for Penguins fans who grew up during the Lemieux era to have a chip on their shoulder about the officiating in the NHL. From 1995-2004, I saw the game I had come to love, completely ruined by a style of play that favored teams without skill, but the ability to obstruct their opponents. As much as I hated the lockout, I thought that the changes in rule to return the game to a much more skilled contest was a great start. Granted, this is nothing like 1995-1996, but I don't like the path that the NHL is heading down with its officiating.

Don't apologize for respecting the actual rules of the game. The 'ref the score' NHL cheapens the game for everyone, especially teams with highly skilled players like the Pens.
