Here's what should happen:

Panthers to Seattle, become super sonics
Coyotes to Quebec, become Nordiques
Islanders to Brooklyn, become Bombers
Devils to Kansas City, become Scouts.

Seattle Metropolitans.... first U.S. winners of the Stanley Cup :D

You do realize that the BJ's have a 25 year lease. They are not going anywhere for a while.

What could the Pens realistically give up to get one of the top picks? From what I hear they are definitely interested in moving up for the first round.

Someone I know overheard them (Ray, etc.) talking about it over dinner. Not a BS rumor, but take it for what it's worth. Draft is in Pittsburgh.

Hall, Nugent-Hopkins, Eberle, Paajarvi and also Yakupov would be just filthy sick.

And no, I wont mention Omark in the same breath as those guys.

Godric: Holy downplaying. Hall and Nugent-Hopkins have been awesome already.

He's not very well suited to the North American game. He couldn't crack the roster of the worst team over the past three years...

It's sad ... and funny at the same time. I remember when the Pens lost the Ovy draft. Sucked at the time.

They should trade one of Hall or Yakupov for a stud defenseman (and see if a goalie is packaged in there as well).

Any time I feel sorry for Blue Jacket fans, like the 2010 game against the Penguins, I remind myself that the majority of them are most likely Buckeye fans.

And since I go to OSU, and therefore am a Buckeye fan, I just remind myself they're all Browns or Bengals fans. They should be used to this.
