Mario should make some sort of statement after this game like he did after the Islanders game. I can't believe that was the Pittsburgh Penguins pulling that stuff today.

I blame DB because the Flyers are nowhere close to this good and the Pens are nowhere close to this bad. Either DB's system(s) have been completely exposed and he is unable to adapt or he lost control of his team.

I've taken to saying that this should be looked at as the Eastern Conference Finals, since these are the two best teams in the East; but Philly has so thoroughly and utterly dominated this series, unlike any I've seen that I can remember at the moment, that even if it were true that this were the ECF, Shero MUST re-evaluate this team. This isn't a tweak situation.

Yes, I know I've played the role of voice of reason so far, but I'm facing facts - I won't say it's over because it's not over until the final buzzer, but the fat lady she's a warmin' up... it sucks, but down 0-3 and being totally dominated in this last game... it'll take a herculean effort that I just don't see on the horizon. Hopefully it's there, but I'm not seeing it... :(

Flyers built themselves to beat us. Now we have to do the same. In fact, I don't understand why our management didn't do a better job preparing to play them. They kept beating us all season long, so I would think they'd look at what exactly is the Ranger's formula for beating these Flyers and try to emulate it.

I have never been more shocked with the play of the pens......game 1 to game 2 to game 3 has given me heartburn and depression. What could top of a game 4? A 12-0 shutout? I never thought I would see the pens resort to Philly tactics. All of us as penguin fans should be embarrassed as should Lemieux who sits in the box drinking his fine red wine. Something must be done if they are swept.... Fans should not tolerate this abomination. Heads must roll......

Its clearly both. There is no way he has control of this team after what we have seen. And the Flyers are done the same thing to us all year and Bylsma hasn't changed or figured anything out. He's gotta go.

Penny, I can't listen to Grover after a game like this as he'll play back every goal accompanied by detailed analysis and include one or more "great" "big" "huge' saves by the Flower, replay(s).

Then he'll go to Dan's press conference. Dan's intake of breath before answering any question will be thirty seconds minimum.

Unless he's going until 8 o'clock, Rob from S. baldwin won't even get on.

Then he'll jump on a caller who wants to pin blame on Fleury.

No doubt, Shero deserves some of the blame.

As I said, time to blow up this team. They are NOT built to win in the playoffs...

1) Fleury on very short leash next year.
2) Rebuild D. Trade Orpik and Martin, resign Niskanen (if you can), add muscle. ENOUGH of the 'puck-movers.'
3) Trade Staal. He is our most marketable commodity, and you CANNOT spend $4 Million on a 3rd-line center...cannot do it. Use money on either a top-6 winger, or more muscle on D.
4) Bylsma on a short leash as well...he has done nothing (in the playoffs) since the CUP.

This team believed their press-clippings, and just got embarassed by their hated rivals. Hell...even the fights caused NO damage...the Flyers are just laughing.

Arrogant and dirty, indeed...

Yeah, bring back Gonchar.

When you pay 5 million a year to a defensemen he had better be able to play the damn power play... or he should otherwise be a top 3 shut down defensemen... Martin is average at both.

Game 4 will be uneventful. Pens are going to just fold from what I saw today. They did that the entire 3rd period sans a 20 minute grappling display.

The second BJ came in, they realized it was over.
