Missed the game because i'm at work. When I get home at 6am I think I may drink a few beers and watch this.

Great game. Loved just seeing us put 10 up. Now if we would have played hockey the last 2 games instead of playing Flyer hockey, this sereis could be tied or we could be up 3-1.

The U wrote:Lots of focus on Bryz and MAF. I'd say the worst guy in the series has been Pierre. Must he dump on somebody after every goal? Constant criticism. Also very transparent in how he praises whomever is winning and jabs whomever is losing. If u are up 3-0 in a game u got the best coach, best leadership, most heart....if you come back to tie the game he just flips and says the same stuff about the other guys.
Pee-air makes my blood boil. What a d-bag that guy is. you're right. whoever is in the lead gets all this praise and then when the score flips, he flips and the team he was just praising sucks, and the other team can do no wrong. I'd rather Milbury be between the benches. Brian Engblom has been the best of late. Pee-air just comes off as someone trying to start controversy anywhere he can.

Yeah Pee-air flip flops with who ever is winning, he has serious man love issues with Giroux.

Hmm, that did look like kind of a head shot on Grossman by Malkin. As soon as Kennedy hit Grossman, the first thing I thought was that he hit him up high.

If you would have told me that the Pens would be averaging slightly above 5 goals a game in the first 4 games, and we were down 3-1, I'd think you were nuts.

That Geno hit looks fine. He's not even directly facing Grossman when he makes contact, he doesn't leave his feet, plus Grossman is leaning forward quite a bit.

Despres seemed a little slow a foot last night. Heavy on his feet to me. He will be good someday. i think the nerves were getting to him with tough time getting it out of his end, Few icings, few passes to flyers. seem to rush things. didn't seem to have much composure. Big guy though. will be good if he picks up a little speed. Hard to tell only playing 13 minutes. But Niskanen only played 12? is that right.
Big change this game i thought the forwards actually came back to help out and get the puck out of the zone. did you notice they actually had people covered in front of the net instead of watching. Except malkin he trailed his guy a few times coming down the ice in front. But that is Pens method both D go to the puck and a forward picks up the back side wing. tough for a forward to get back all the time.

They rested Nisky in the 3rd because he's been playing hurt and they had an extra D.

I'd suspend him. Looks pretty much identical to the Savard hit, without the same force. I guess the only thing that makes it less than automatic intentional is that he doesn't extend the arm to make the hit. Someone does that to Crosby, I'd be pissed.

I was late to this thread and I'm not sure if you're kidding. Malkin is turning toward the puck, Grossman is bent over, and as you said, no extension of the arm. Pause the clip at the point where contact is made.

That Malkin hit definitely looked dirty to me. I understand that Grossman was bent over, but the last move Malkin made was unnecessary, where he came up towards his head. I don't buy that as just "turning towards the puck".
