Just started last night, I had it plugged in, the charger light is on, the battery icon on the screen indicates charging, but when I go to use it it shows only 3% battery left and dies out. It died over night but I can charge it just enough to get it started but it won't go past a few % worth of battery. I got one error message that the phone isnt detecting a full charge and to switch to a wall outlet. Its already in a wall outlet. Thats probably telling me theres something wrong with the usb port or the battery itself right?

Try a different USB cord perhaps, and take the battery out - hold down power key - replace battery - power up.

I've been eligible for an upgrade for a long time but Tmo has not had a phone that interested me in the slightest. Mostly because I want a physical keyboard, but beyond that I don't think they've evolved that much in the last two years to give me a reason to buy a new one.
I was very disappointed by the One S's lack of media player capabilities. No smartphone at all at this point has a powerful gpu and robust server connectivity to stream music and movies.

That's not to mention all containers like mkv, mp4, wtv, m4v, etc. And also the audio formats dolby digital and dts. You need to install 3rd party programs that may or may not have unlicensed decoders.
PC world said the one s was the best multimedia phone. It would not even open xvid avi files.

i have the prime. it is without a doubt the best tablet on the market today. the ipad i had in the past is such a POS compared to this its not even funny. basically, it comes down to what operating system you prefer the closed world of IOS or android that you can do anything you can think of with.
get the keyboard dock and its basically an amazing netbook/tablet combo. there is just so much you can do with this thing anything you can think of that could improve the tablet something you wish you could do with it there is almost always a way if you really read up on forums, etc.
one thing is certain i will never ever get an apple device after my experience with this android tablet.

I have an extra USB in my truck, since I will charge it in there through the sync port (though it is slow) from time to time. I am trying to charge it now on my computer (dell laptop), but it doesnt seem to be working. Anyone know a trick?
