We had about an inch in scottdale. As I got towards Smithton, nothing. My girlfriend said her commute got progressively worse going towards Latrobe, though.

I think every time a news station gets the weather wrong you should be able to sue for false advertisement. I was told snow, and there was no snow. So I get no enjoyment out of today.

Ligonier got pounded. Friend of mine ended up taking his car into a guard rail.

I never go down Ligonier mountain when there's even a flake of snow on the road. By the sounds of it, he "only" sideswiped the rail.

When I used to work at my uncle's tire shop, we took a 1 ton stake bed truck up to Jennerstown to pick up some logging truck tires (i'm talking the 5 foot tall by 3 foot wide variety). had 6 of them on a 1-ton stake bed truck and snow squalls making it rough coming down the mountain. Talk about puckered up driving.
