What kind of double speak is that? If it showed they were in his head and it was a problem, then it made him look bad by definition.

I've never heard anyone make so many excuses for a team/players/coaches as I've heard you make for this one.
If you honestly don't think the coach has a crucial role in keeping the team in the right mental mindset...well, I don't know what to say.
