To be honest, at first I was like... a big part of that play by Geno was the total ineptitude of the Toronto Team D, all he faces really are 3 weak poke check attempts and very little effort. But Ennis more or less has his one defender wiffing on a poke check as well.

Honestly, and I know I'm biased as others there, but it's not that I think Malkin's was better(which I do), I feel like I've seen other goals scored by other plays that were a lot better than Ennis'.

The difference between Geno's Goal and ennis goal is you rarely see what Geno did anymore. Did ennis make an amazing play, yes, but i see guys beat one defender for a semi-breakaway more then i see a guy go through the entire team and score. Ennis hands are unbelievable on that play yes, but geno goal looks so easy, thats what makes it better, because its not easy
