There was a lot of buzz around this team at the beginning of the season and for obvious reasons, they're a great team. They under-performed for most of the season, just squeaking into the playoffs and never looked back. I'm very happy for them, especially Scuds.

I'm not entire sure people inside Southern California knew they were in the playoffs when it started, or even knew they had them winning the cup haha.

I'd say the Kings were a very good team who underperformed during the regular season as opposed to an average team who overachieved in the playoffs.
You know what, tonight is about L.A. and letting them celebrate," said DeBoer. "If you want to ask me about that in about a week, I'll give you my honest opinion on it.
