Isn't that just about the most sterotypical Russian name you can get? Volchenkov... Volchenkov... It just conjures a mental picture of a guy wearing a trenchcoat and a furry hat, carrying an AK-47. Volchenkov.

Yeah, he is the guy that we don't have. Being able to put him and Brooks on the same line from time to time would be nasty....

I definitely wish we had more power forward type bruisers. Obviously Volchenkov is a D, but man...we are a soft team.

I'll never forget seeing him taking a Malkin slapshot to the forehead in the play-offs after Malone cross-checked him in the crease.

My buddy had some of those rocket things in his nose when he got beamed in the cheek by a fastball. Top 2 grossest thing Ive ever witnessed in person outside of a compound forearm fracture.
