Pens fan with question regards moving to the "danger zone"

Hey everyone! Ok so I currently live in Elizabethtown, PA which is on the west end of Lancaster County. Currently we get FSN so I am able to watch all Pens games (we get comcast). However, because I have just landed an awesome job in center city Philadelphia I will be moving closer to work, more specifically I'll be moving to the Norristown/Chonshohocken area. My question is I'm going to get Comcast as my cable provider, however I want Pens games, do they offer the NHL package so I dont miss any Pens games?

Sorry to not answer your question and ask one of my own...but when did comcast end their little difference with FSN/Root? I switched over to dish about 2 years ago because (at that time) Comcast still did not carry FSN Pitt/Root Sports.

U can get center ice through comcast. I have for the last 4 years except this year. They offer the nhl network as well.

I don't think that you can get Root/PGH any further east than Lancaster.
Once you start paying for Center Ice...I don't know, you just get used to it.

I used to spend $60 a month on coffee, so the CI price doesn't seem so punishing in comparison.

its like most of philly, it goes from awesome to post apocalyptic in a matter of streets. I almost moved to Northern Liberties, but that is the extreme of what i mean. one street was gorgeous/trendy, the next couldve been a spin-off of The Wire.

on a serious note, comcast does have center ice, but all the pens-flyers game , the pens feed will always be blackedout

You will not get "FSN" outside of going through Directv. You will need to subscribe to Center Ice* like the others are saying to get the FSN (or alternate) feed, but also make sure you have a package that includes NHL network, NBC Sports Network, CSN (or whatever the flyers channel is for the flyers-pens games) and CNBC/MSNBC or whatever it was that they played playoff games on. That will be the way to get all pens games. The rest of those channels work the same as before for you, however NHL network can potentially play pens games that would have been broadcast on FSN. As a guess I would say it is something like 80% Center Ice, 10% NBC/NBCSN and 10% NHLN for the regular season, but they seem to be doing more and more games on NHL network.

*You could also get NHL gamecenter as an alternative to center ice (but will also need the other channels since they are blacked out).
