'Ticket To Ride' Season II Premiere
It came down to wire but network executive's and the cast member's wiley agent, Don Mayhem, were finally able to work out a deal to bring back this action packed drama for another season. Writer's, cast and crew have been hastily assembled to craft the first episode. We here at the Canon MacMillan Patch have been able to obtain an extended synopsis.
A hot shot getaway artist 'Lisse' (played by new cast member-YouTube exercise sensation- Kristopher Letang) has just stepped off the plane at Domodedovo Airport in Moscow after a long and grueling flight from Montreal. But before the hungry Lisse can finish the borscht he bought at 'Babushka Boris Borscht Bar And Postcard Kiosk', Malkinelli throws the cuffs on him and smuggles Lisse aboard a waiting jet which will take them back to the United States.
At first, Lisse looks to escape but Malkinelli explains to him that the former's getaway speed is needed by the squad for an unexpected but expected important assignment. Lisse's interest is piqued, but when Malkinelli tells him that if the mission is successful Lisse could become a very wealthy man, Lisse is all in. He asks Malkinelli for details but Malkinelli has not been authorized by Lt. Dan to reveal specifics (mainly because Lt. Dan doesn't have any). Nor has he been authorized to reveal his cover to the newcomer. The crafty Russian can speak Lisse's native French but sticks to pigeon English as per plan. Malkinelli can tell Lisse only that the Frenchman's unique skill's are highly coveted by the Commissioner.
Lisse knows he'll take the job but grows bored with Malkinelli's ersatz, vigorously incompetent English and decides to go talk to the pilot. Problems then arise as the plane starts making unexpected detours, landing in Minsk, Kaliningrad, Prague and Leipzig. When the plane goes from Hamburg to Istanbul, Malkinelli becomes alarmed. Lisse has not left the cockpit! Malkinelli investigates and finds Lisse in the pilot's seat flying the airplane! When Lisse tells him that staying the course is not ,"the way I roll", Malkinelli knows Lt. Dan and the squad are going to have their hands full.
