The rumors that Semin wouldn't take less than 7mil for a 1yr deal and also wanted 10mil for a 2yr deal turn out to be totally accurate. The otherside of that rumor is that Carolina made Semin an offer over the weekend and well.....high marks for Spector's Report, except Lyle figured(and I did too) that semin would wait a long time for either of those contracts.

Carolina is raising hell this off season and the SE just got shuffled in a major way. Muller being behind the bench already going into this season and having the full year to work with is going to help them too.
