Noodle Company or whatever its called.

He asked for 'good' pad thai. Theirs is not even really pad thai.

Lemongrass Cafe; some of the best around. There is also an Indian place across from the one on 6th that is very good for an alternative.

lol, I'm sure I didn't catch the good or I wouldn't have suggested the noodle place. I totally forgot lemongrass was downtown - much better suggestion.

There was an illegal Thai restaurant in West Philly that was just awesome. You dined on the wrap-around porch of their house.
I don't know if the weather or the health department caught up with them, but it eventually disappeared.

The Thai restaurant in Bloomfield is awesome. I don't know if it actually has a name....It's right on Liberty.

I actually really like the pan noodles there, but its no Lulu's in Oakland. Any place thats doing stroganoff and pad thai in the same place is not going to do either particularly well...

Dive bar & grille in Wexford has a new menu feature where you can get a burger with literally anything on the menu on it. I played it conservative the first time and got a macaroni & cheese bacon BBQ burger in a jamaican jerk rub. Mmmm.

That's a major to each their own right there. I wouldn't want to go to Dino's, let alone anywhere in Latrobe, and I definitely would not want to engage Craig Wolfley in conversation.

I think a good Falafel is incredibly difficult to find. The "worlds greatest gyro" van that used to park outside of Hillman had the best falafel i've ever had. He would put some pickled vegetables and a tangy tahini sauce on it. Every other time i've ever had a falafel it's been too dry. One time I made them and they were good, every other time it's been too dry as well.

last weekend kenny the kangaroo enjoyed a gyro from a gyro cart at the beaver county regatta. it was not the worlds greatest gyro. then again, neither is the worlds greatest gyro guys gyro. mike and tony's on the souf side gets the nod as kenny the kangaroos favorite gyro.

I feel like I've been touting these guys forever, but the best gyro in the United States has to be here:

The "world's greatest gyro" was pretty much just a standard Gyro. his van should have said "world's greatest falafel".

If it's just like Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza near Market District Giant Eagle, then I approve :P . They might be the same business, but there's always that chance where you go to one place and the food is better than the other.

Somewhat pricey for a pizza, but being that I don't do pizza that often I don't mind paying the few dollars extra for a coal fired pie. If you're not a fan of the crust being somewhat crispy, you might want to avoid it.

wasnt aware they offered this. will need to add to the list. i am a supporter of the porch. i have had a few issues there and management has always been very receptive and understanding and quick to remedy situations. strong food too and neat environment. when the food goes bad, usually too salty.

Went to Park Brugge for the first time yesterday (first time at either brugge) for lunch. I don't know how they make their french fries, but those are the best french fries I have ever had.
