Better than bardem. Crowe was fairly good in The Quick and the Dead, so I'm interested to see him do a "western" again

Not Dark Tower, but CBS turning Under the Dome into a 13 episode series.

From the article:
I hear the project’s writer Brian K. Vaughan (Lost) kept the general conceit and many of the characters from the book but also introduced new characters as regulars and tweaked some details and backstory for the existing ones.

Considering the unintelligible pile of crap that Lost eventually turned into, the fact that it’s head writer is leading this project is, IMO, a major red flag.

Yeah, King's stories are never perfect, but his characters are usually pretty fantastic and well-drawn. I can understand removing some, but adding new ones??? Seems like a bad start.

I also don't see how they anticipate this being an ongoing series.
