Hopefully it was as a fan. Pretty ballsy for a guy who has yet to play a shift in the NHL.

That. Might not wind up being a CLM, but is in that vein.

Morrow should probably keep his thoughts to within his little school buddies.

He has never even played an NHL game and makes a childish statement with no substance.

"Childish"... 19 years old.
Uh huh.
At any rate, what does him that have to do with the fact that Gary Bettman has **** the league up yet again with the 3rd lockout in 18 years under his tenure?
Don't really understand how his NHL experience makes a difference, either.

Because he referenced nothing of substance and did the equivalent of calling him a poopy head. On twitter no less.

Let us not forget that fact that he pulled it down and then apologized......
I'd say that's a 2 minute penalty and let's get the GAME ON ffs.

i'm just wondering how it's bettman's fault and not the owners who he's a spokesman for? what's bettman supposed to do exactly? defy his employer's best interests?

i also think the "3rd lockout in 20 years" thing is too broad of a brush stroke. revenue and profitability of the league has been in a constant state of change in a way that the other major leagues haven't had to deal with. also, the last lockout was 100% necessary, and ended up being a blessing for the NHL. yet it's somehow lumped into bettman's failure?

When wil people realize the lockouts for the most part are not Gary Bettmans fault. For the most part he is the moth of the owners just like Donald Fehr is the mouth of the players., essentially they are both just reps.

What an incredibly stupid thing to do.
Yes, this is all Gary Bettman's fault...good lord.

Consider this...Mario Lemieux and Gary Bettman are the two biggest reasons the Pens are still in Pittsburgh. There will be work stoppages in every major sports league over time. It runs in cycles. To fault Bettman is foolish. It comes down to economics and greed.
