Spoiler:
I'd say off the leash is probably a good way to describe it because they've hinted at the effed up stuff he's done in the past and not really cared about doing but have kept him pretty wrapped up in the show only showing glimpses of the lengths he's willing to go. It's gonna be rough.

Never watched until last night. I was a little lost, but what a great show! I'll be tuning in again.

Spoiler:
Who the guy is from their past that has the artificial leg. At least that's my theory.

Spoiler:
I am wondering the same thing about who that guy is.

Tig is gonna go bananas this season after what happened.

That scene with his daughter was great, but was disturbing to watch as a parent

Spoiler:
I thought those guys were the Nomads they voted in to the club. Wasn't one of them called pegleg or something??

And jeez, what an intense episode. They said that Tig is "off the leash" this season, so it should be absolutely insane.

Good call, IrishEyes.....I missed that completely......

Spoiler:
Just my own general 2 cents..........

I am at the point that I LOATHE Tara. I was pretty indifferent to her in seasons 1 -3, I started not liking her at the beginning of 4, REALLY didn't like her at the end of 4, and now she's achieved Loathe Status.

The scene(s) with Leroy's crew was NUTS. Sort of sucks that they killed off Leroy....for a secondary character, I liked him.

I sort of saw the Tig stuff a mile away....(not the actual method of, but the general idea).....it's like "ohhhhhh, THAT'S why there was that random episode with his daughter in it last season!"

Dying to see what happens with Otto this season....one of my favorite secondary story lines.

Really like how Charlie Hunnam plays that "seething under the surface"...a la scene at "church" with Clay making his confession.

Spoiler:
Decent episode, that sets the table for the rest of the season probably. A few things rub me the wrong way though. Why would the Sons be fine hiding out somewhere like the brothel and not really hide at all. All these people coming and going and they just sit in the lobby. Also, why does Jax immediately trust Jimmy Smits. Doesn't seem likely, especially with all that's going down. And as someone else mentioned... Tara. I've never really liked her transformation, and now that transformation is complete. She's basically Gemma, and doesn't really fit her. Looking forward to the rest of the season, but these things really stuck out this episode.

Spoiler:
Thought last night's episode was pretty weak suspense wise, at least for SOA standards. It was definitely a set-up episode.

One thing that is throwing me off...I read a couple recaps of last night, and they referred to the new members of SOA that were patched in during episode 1 of this season were the ones responsible for the beating of Unser. I totally missed where that was confirmed last night. Anyone else pick up on it?

Can't do spoilers on my phone, but there was a brief scene at the end that touches on this, I think. But then again, I'm a SOA noob.

Spoiler:
The scene was towards the end. Chuck Zito (not sure of his character name, one of the new patched in guys) was shown in a car looking at birth certificates, legal documents, etc. These are the docs that Clay was mentioning were in the safe that were stolen earlier in the episode.

I feel like they can't off any of the guys left. The only guy that would make sense is Clay but he's still needed. Tig lives, Elvis lives, Jax obviously, Happy no way so much unfinished business, I just don't see them being able to kill a main character yet in order to advance the story... On a side note I hope somehow, someway, the assistant DA Lincoln Potter makes a comeback at some point.

Spoiler:
Definitely sad to see Opie go, though you could see the writing on the wall. Once Jax came clean to him about Clay, I knew that was it for Opie and that he would volunteer himself (which he pretty much did). I was hoping that Jax would find a way to give up Otto, but Pope made it pretty clear who he had to choose from.

What I am wondering is that now that Tig is out of jail, does Jax not care about Tig's fate because he helped them get into this whole mess with the Niners, or does he want to give Tig a chance to get retribution against Pope? Either way, slick move by Jax in his negotiations.

Cant wait to see what Jax has in store for that guard that he threatened.
