For lockout frowns, goals that made you smile

Postby Big Easy Pens Fan on Tue Sep 18, 2012 7:18 pm

Here's one of my favs:

It happened so fast that Doc couldn't keep up with the play-by-play. :D

Editing here: If there was such a thing as a third assist, Kennedy would have gotten one on this goal.

Please contribute. Thanks.

Game 4 must have been a pretty good game. :fist: Here's the game/series-changer. :thumb:

I appreciate the sentiment of this thread BEPF, but you're just making me miss hockey more... Sick of this lockout already.

Will have to find them online later, but some of the others that immediately come to mind are...

-The Crosby goal where he kicked it to himself in the neutral zone
-The Geno goal last year where he went through the entire TB team (selfishly since I was there)
-The Sykora "called shot" in OT
-All of the Neal goals coming directly off the faceoff from Geno (because everyone in the building knew it was coming and were powerless to stop it)
-The Geno shootout goal where he deked the goalie so badly to the wrong side he had the entire net open and just slowly pushed it home

Game four of the 09 series was hands down the best game ive ever watched (other than 7 of course). I remember that second period. It was a line to the penalty box for the pens and most of them were horrible calls. Then the Malkin non-call on the breakaway right before Staal's goal. I remember when Staal scored my blood pressure had to be over 200. I just screamed out loud obscenities once he scored. Then Sid scored. Then TK scored. and I was dancing in the streets.

only because me and my friend made the trip to denver for this game. we had gone to san jose earlier in the year and engelland scored that game too, but this one was unique only because for a slight moment during the whole jumping up and down, screaming, we had to stop for a 2nd to do a double take, like "who the **** just tipped that? ENGELLAND?"

Request: the 'malkin to crosby, to malkin, to crosby' goal.

Also, this lockout is seriously making me :(

Lack of this in the first 10 posted proves that yinz are not serious Pens fans.

11/11/08: Pens vs Wings. Staal to tie late & Fedetenko to win in OT.

The most psyched up I've probably ever been after a regular season win. Certainly the greatest November game in team history....
