Exactly. Op looking at Jax at the end will stick with me for awhile.

[Ryan Hurst's tweets regarding the episode were both funny and touching. If you haven't seen them already---check out @RamboDonkeyKong.]

I think Jax is legitimately done with Tig.

Can't wait to see what happens to the prison guard.

Jax is certainly over Tig. He will eventually just use him to get something done and not care if he lives or dies.

Spoiler:
Tig caused the death of his daughter and Opie. He cost the club $50 MILLION DOLLARS. He is the reason they went to jail in the first place.

From Kurt Sutter:

September 27, 2012

"not sure if folks know this yet, but johnny lewis (halfsack) died last night. the sad irony of it happening two days after opie's death is not lost on me. it was a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way. i wish i could say that i was shocked by the events last night, but i was not. i am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path. yes, it's day or mourning, but it's also a day of awareness and gratitude. sadly, some of us carry the message by dying."

Yeah, last night was total filler for the most part as well as a massive appeal to women.

Yeah, I agree... as a newcomer to the show, I didn't enjoy this one as much as some of the others.

Only one episode behind now. It's late so I'll sum up my thoughts on the first 3 episodes... Holy ****.

Ok, so a few more comments...

Spoiler:
I'm having a little bit of trouble taking Pope seriously... hard to see 'Michael' or wheelchair dude from Oz as this evil kingpin.
Tig's daughter... man that scene was brutal.
I agree with the earlier comment that Tara's transition to being Gemma happened way too fast. She went from wanting out at all costs to Gemma in about 5 minutes.
Curious what's going down with the Home Invasions... all we really saw was that one of the people had prosthetic legs.
I was pretty surprised that Opie died... I assumed that at some point he was going to move into his role as VP... not so much now, obviously.

Definitely interested in seeing "Tig unleashed". Could make for some wild tv. One thing that is bothering me though... I want to know what the back story between him and Kozik was... unless I missed something, the only real detail we got was Tig looking @ a picture of a dog. There was so much anger there... wtf happened?

Caught up. Definitely a slower episode, but probably necessary. Had to deal with the events of the previous episode as well as setting up new things.

Spoiler:
I was reading the comments to an article about SOA, and I found this theory interesting...

Now that Jax has Tig in his back pocket, he is going to use him to eventually kill Clay. Because of Tig and Clay, Jax lost his best friend. And now Jax is going to make a move to have Tig kill his own best friend.

Gotta say, I like that idea.

Spoiler:
Also, the lie about Clay being shot by 9ers led to Tig killing Pope's daughter... Which led to Pope burning Tig's daughter alive in front of him. I don't think he's super happy with Clay right now.

Spoiler:
Yeah. Clay "came clean" at Church about Piney and admitted that Opie shot him. Afterwards, Tig somewhat confronted Clay about it. I believe that was before they burned his daughter.

Apologies if I am misrememberring... I watched like 10 episodes over 3 days last week. :)

Nah bro. Clay came clean about shooting Piney, but not with the actual reason. He said Piney was drunk and came at him.

Tig/Clay thing seems completely plausible. Seems like there's already been a divide.

Spoiler:
That was why I put quotes around "came clean". He told a twisted version of the truth.

Looking for something to jog my memory: http://screencrush.com/sons-of-anarchy- ... sovereign/

Key points:
The Sons call to order a meeting of the clubhouse, inducting several new Nomad member as Jax declares Bobby to be his VP as long as Opie distances himself from the group. Just then, Clay elects to tell the group outright that he was the one to kill Piney, and Opie the one to shoot him, but twists the story enough that Jax would have no culpability or involvement
and
Back at Clay’s, Juice explains that he understands how hard the confession must have been for Clay, before Tig arrives looking for some clarification of his own. Shortly after arriving however, Tig gets a call that his daughter Dawn has been pulled over on a DUI, and he needs to pick her up.
