Do you floss?

I went to the dentist yesterday(for the first time in while, embarrassingly), and while my overall gum health was good, I have developed a series of "small" cavities between my teeth from not flossing. I hate flossing; it hurts my gums and I irrationally fear my teeth are going to fall out when the floss gets stuck near on top of them. I didn't think many people did, so I ask -- do you floss?

I've learned to accept flossing. I had the same thing happen a few months ago, and it's helped ten fold.

I used to have really sensitive gums, and now by flossing they rarely bleed.

I prefer the sweet nourishment of long grain tobacco on my teeth and gums, just let the leaf do all the work. soon you'll wonder how floss, and God willing, toothbrushes, ever were a daily staple in this thing we call life.

As stated earlier, your gums get used to flossing very quickly if you do it regularly. I prefer the individual floss picks that I can use at work. Of course, it ends up turning into a habit and they you overfloss (not sure if this is good or bad).

yes, but not as often I should. I floss at least one a day. I'd say it's a 50/50 split between 1x and 2x a day.

Yeah, I use these things every day. They are amazing, and much easier to use than traditional floss..

Try the Glide before you decide. The actual floss that they use makes a HUGE difference. The cheap ones are like flossing with fishing line.

I have one of these guys. From what I understand flossing is more important than brushing. I do a floss/brush/listerine twice a day.

I floss like 3 or 4 times a week.

I used to not floss and the dentist told me my gums would start to recede from my teeth and they'd eventually fall out. When I started, my gums bled like bloody hell and it hurt. But after about 2 weeks, it got better, and now when I floss, no bleeding at all and my gums feel nice and healthy.

Needs a poll. I don't because it felt really uncomfortable...I can't get away with just mouthwash (well, in addition to brushing, of course)? My face is going to fall off if I don't floss? That sucks, because I don't like the feeling of putting something between my teeth, as weird as that sounds...

Or you'll be like Troy Loney and not have gone for years, and then when you do finally show up to the dentist your dropping $2K for dental work in one year.
