It looks bigger than any wolf spider I've ever seen.

I killed what I thought was an assassin bug this morning but it smelled like I killed a stink bug when I killed it. Are they related? Do they smell? Or was this just a mutant stink bug?

Someone told me that they released this big mutant bug to go kill all the stink bugs. Could this be that bug they are talking about?

I heard that thing sucks blood of vertebrates. That... that doesnt sound good. Although, I guesss a mosquito does the same thing..

We have a weird looking spider that has repeatedly come back from the dead and invaded our apartment. Next time he shows up, i'll need to remember to put a picture here.

We seem to have more bugs after our monthly pest service than before. I know some of it is them coming out of the ground that was sprayed, but there are a bunch of the little SOBs that never die.

Also had a ton of hibiscus mealey bugs on our potted hibiscus plants. Apparently after some research, there is no bug poison known to kill them (how?), so I had to prune away and kill some the old fashion way.

Litt... I did some work today with an entomologist. Looking at emerald ash borers. They're trying to make decoys of them and they wanted to see how light reflects off the decoys compared to the actual bugs, so I shot the bugs and decoys with a laser. Fun times...

The bug itself is the one on the clear right side that looks like a yellow glowing spot.

In case you guys don't know what they look like:

That's what these guys want to do. Mass produce decoys that are electrified to kill 'em all.
