For those who share their bed with their wives/husbands/significant others... what side do you sleep on???
I sleep on the right side, gf on the left. Am I weird?

I think its weird to have a set side.... it should be whatever side you happen to fall asleep on...

Same, but only because it's closer to the bedroom door and I want to be able to shield her in case the worst happens

This just confused the hell out of me.
Orient yourself as laying on your back. If your girl is on your left, you sleep on the right side.

Truthfully, it's because our bed frame needs replaced and our whole bed leans down that way

Both.
I sleep on the side closest to the door/window, so it varies depending where we are. The last house we had, I was om the right. But in the temp apartment we're in for the next couple weeks I'm on the left.

I would view it the same as Hammer and say that I sleep on the right. Based upon your method, I sleep on the left.

I sleep on the left 1/3 of the bed. She's on the right 2/3 of the bed.

Now I'm confused. If I'm the bed looking at me, the right side would put the girl on my left as I lay on my back.

I consider the part of the bed on the LEFT side of this picture as the RIGHT side of the bed. I.e. if you're on your back, you're girl is on your left.

In the summer I was on the left next to the AC with it blasting. Now that its getting cold, i'm on the right with the heat hitting her.
My directions are given with me laying on my back looking up at the ceiling.

Right Side. closer to the door. easier to bring a bedtime beer/late night snack without causing an uprising.

I think this brings up another dilemma...how many people get up in the middle of the night to eat? I think this might be an issue of how deep you sleep, I can never fathom the energy to get out of bed in the middle of the night to get something to eat.

Yeah - can't imagine being hungry or having energy to get up.

I never get up unless there is an issue that needs resolved such as the smoke alarm beeping for no reason early Monday morning. I don't even have enough energy to go to the bathroom.

I never get up in the middle of the night. Its probably because of how little I sleep more than anything, though. On the rare occasions where I do wake up, I typically get out of bed and play video games.
