I mean apples and oranges. Beating on women and being stupidly drunk. The point was that the Steelers have been putting up with a lot of B.S. from their players for a while.

So the deadspin article shows Alameda Taamu blew a .196 on the breatholizer. How much you think a 350+ pound guy would have to drink to have a bac twice the legal limit?

Thats another thing. Holmes was going to be a FA no? I think they were looking to dump him regardless, and I think they liked to use the weed bust as a front.

I would say that I'd be disappointed if he is not reprimanded/released, but as mentioned in the last few responses, the "Steeler Way" is no more real than the Easter Bunny at this point.

Wait, you mean there is no Easter Bunny? Thanks alot for busting my bubble.

Are people honestly asking whether he'll be a Steeler? The guy is going to jail --- this isn't a "oh crap let the lawyers handle it" situation.

Also, WTH does a coach's mentality have to do with a guy who leads police on a wild chase through a series of hit and runs? It's not like he went to a Strip Club on game night. :face:

I posted this in "Non-Steelers" too. but it kinda involves the Steelers since we still have to play the Ravens twice.

Looks like Ray Lewis is out for a while and Ladarius Webb out for the season.

We can still get back in this thing.

If Ray Ray misses this year, how many more can he have left? Especialy on the heals of an injury that causes him to miss months on end.

Steelers still have no shot at the division, IMO. Hopefully weakens the Ravens enough that they won't go anywhere, but the AFC seems weak overall so they are on track for a bye at this point. (And they are almost as bad as the Steelers on the road, so that is bad).

Steelers are gonna be 6-10 this year. It's time to rebuild and retool. The defense needs an overhaul and a few lean years are ahead for this club. I just hope this team becomes good again in time for Ben to win a few more rings on the back end of his career.

Harrison has been using special padding to protect his head and likes the results so far.

The Steelers defensive players have found a unique way of preventing concussions so far this season... They have decided to just not tackle the other team and allow them to score at a leisurely pace. To date it has been successful in reducing the amount of concussions.
