That was more people saying that Trout was a better all around player and that the Triple Crown is arbitrary. I don't think anyone really doesn't think Cabrera is great.

Yeah I never got the impression that people dislike Cabrera because of his physique or anything they just were in the pro-Trout camp.. That and neither side of the argument seems to understand that just because you think Trout should win doesn't mean you think Cabrera is a POS and vice versa but both sides took it that way (that was pretty much the case with all the national writers/bloggers as well).

MLB needs to skew the salary structure in the Yankees' favor. It just isn't fair.

Source on the team now confirming that Arod asked for a woman's number during Game 1.

He can't be shipped off soon enough. I don't care how much of his salary they have to eat.

I wonder how much money MLB would let them eat on that contract? I can't see why any team would want to be on the hook for even $10M/yr for 5 more seasons, and that would still be well over half.

I joked last week he's gonna end up a Pirate within a couple years.

Nah, Massapequa Park. but I need to check out some of those places you told me about in Woodside some time.

I just realized the Yankees aren't playing Baltimore, they're playing Detroit right? Shows you how much I follow MLB!

Good question. I think they'd have to eat 80-90% to get rid of him, but don't know what MLB would think of it. I'm hoping the dodgers swoop in to save the day.

Do they expect the rain delay to end? If yes, when is the STL game expected to resume?

Coke on the mound for the Tigers, who actually made his debut with the Yankees in 2008.

I'm guessing the Yankees got rid of him because they once learned that having Coke in the Yankees pitching system never ends well. Image

It's the 9th inning, and the Yankees are about to be tucked in. Tune in to TBS if you love Yankee failure as much as I do
