LOL, thanks.
So at least I am justified in how jaded I am in regards to dating, the game that goes with it, and all things in between.

I said, "maybe."I have heard from friends that, by around 40, the game has changed. New strategery, maybe even a flak jacket and helmet, are needed. Very dangerous, as the terrain is riddled with teenagers from first marriages. Can any of our romantic sages, our "Soldiers of Love," offer testimonials?

My advice to y'all is not to try and force a "square peg" in a "round hole" (get yer mind out if the gutter).
Seriously, you get pretty jaded when you end up 50-something and multiple failures in your history. It gets so you can't/won't trust ANYONE anymore.
Being single can be a challenge, but it sure beats going through a divorce or two (or three) and not having the benefit of those family relationships that get built up over the years of a solid marriage/relationship.
(is that TMI?)

Someone needs to make the reservations, too. I'm too busy to do that stuff. :D
