I am just loving the way this team looks right now. If it weren't for those first two games of the season (oh and that whole thing in the offseason) we'd be looking at a Rose Bowl team.

Still question going for it on their own 36 and wish they had gotten the backup QB in for some 4th quarter snaps, but just nitpicking. I'll take a 24 point win any day.

Wish I had Pens hockey around to nitpick like this.

O'Brien has said he doesn't believe in playing the backup in garbage time. Not sure I agree with it, but after the last two years I'm ok with his approach. The one time Bench took snaps this year was when Matt took a helmet to the hand.

Putting in the backup in garbage time really doesn't help him with experience, but it does protect your starter. Iowa was getting a little 'chippy' in the beginning of the 4th quarter...and McGloin did take a couple unnecessary shots. Oh well...all's well that ends well.

Yeah but the first shot that he took, Iowa was flagged for roughing the QB and it gave them a fresh set of downs on, If I remember correctly, a failed 3rd down. The referees had great control of the game, which made BOBs decision easier.
