his demeanor, soft-spoken sincerity, religious/spiritual but not obnoxiously, that's why he's liked. and obviously the hair and being on the steelers gets him noticed, but the all-out effort and talent could be many players.

I really do not get the Rodgers hate. To me Drew Brees acted twice the punk and baby anyone did during the bountie scancal. And Im a huge brees fan. But the way he conducted himself thru that soured me on him a bit.

And that's why I hate Brees. Between the bounty scandal and the lockout his nonstop public display of incessant whining was just pathetic. I'll give him credit for the amount of charity work he does, but I think he's a whiney baby jagoff.

it's fun to watch half those players be humiliated by defeat? i don't know. i do prefer to be wound up by opponents and increasingly wish their demise. but in general, there's just a certain look in the eyes of certain quarterbacks when they're doing well that's so smug it's worse than any DB jumping up and jamming his helmet into a WR's face after a play.
