I think this can be a defining game for this Steelers' season. I know there's more optimism (and I share it to some extent) after beating the Bengals and Redskins, but really, those are two mediocre teams.
If the Steelers can beat the Giants (especially with it being on the road and with the Steelers still having some key injuries), they really start looking like a legit contender in the admittedly weak AFC. If the Steelers lose, which I think is likely, they hit the midway point at 4-4 and appear every bit the mediocre team they seemed like earlier, on their way to a .500 record (plus or minus a game or so).
