MRandall25 - No, they changed the appearance a long time ago. It's still recognizable as the same house, but without the "eye" windows, it definitely loses some of the cool factor.

columbia - I was there a few years ago. I took the "train" ride/tour and it was a lot of fun! Freezing cold in January though, lol. The Plantation was on a recent episode of Ghost Hunters too.

Canaan - The mental hospital was in Danvers, MA. Most of it was torn down but the center of the Kirkbride was restored and turned into an apartment complex. It's still very recognizable from the film. Gordon's house is in Malden, MA, if memory serves.

Does crystal lake still look the same? I'd love to go into some of the cabins...the dock etc.

Crystal Lake is very similar. A few of the cabins were torn down, but the main cabin where Alice fights Mrs V is still there. The lake looks the same. The archery range is still there too. Also, the diner where Steve Christy downs some coffee is still around. I ate breakfast there in April.
