While I despise Holmes, that is one helluva catch.

Surprised "The Catch" isn't in there. It's one of their signature covers.

Weird. On iPad I can't see every 4th picture. So I only have the 75 greatest photos.

Tons of great photos, and it seems impossible to order them. But, the top 20 seem totally out of place outside of the Jordan one. I though Ali-Lisbon could be #1.

Orr is there. While the Maz HR is represented twice, not having *this* is an omission

IMO as far as hockey goes #80 and #78 should be a little higher and #9 should be much lower.

Also where is the pic of Lambert sitting on the bench all bruised and beat up?

There are some great ones there and some puzzling ones. Some that were great moments bad pictures, some that are just completely out of place.

never saw that clemente photo before, which was cool, but there are certainly 3 or 4 better ones if you want to capture him specifically. one where he's got bats leaning on him on deck, one where he's just posing but looking off in to the sky like royalty, ones where he's running or swinging or throwing which are more unique to him than just standing there ready to swing, and of course doffing his cap after his 3000th and final hit before his noble death. i mean, that one could have been in the running for #1

Is it true that the Penguins were the first to take the "team" picture around the stanley cup?

No. I think the Oilers started that. We were the first to visit the White House I believe. Though who knows if we would have been the first, we were the only American winners from 1984-1993!

I think this list is limited to pictures that have appeared in SI, so some pictures like Maz running the bases and the YA Title picture wouldn't be included.

Still have no idea why that doofus Harper cut to the inside on that run. He basically ran straight towards Ben
