if i may intervene, i believe his issue is that he does not find it highly believable that you beat the game on legendary already
the easiest way to prove that you did, would be to right now spoiler a description of the end of the game on legendary, so that it could be verified at a later date

Yeah, I couldn't help it... I read the book and saw the youtube shows and I couldn't wait to see what they did with the story

Late to the party but just finished Alan Wake and I must say I have never enjoyed a game less than that one. The first chapter was really good and built the tension but from then on it was more of the same. Stupid decisions made by Alan or the NPC's that force you to go back into the woods or some long round about path to your destination. Most of the buildings look the same, half of the game is spent complaining about the forest then going right back into it. Not to mention the fact that he gets out of breath sprinting 50ft and is a pretty unlikeable character. Not to mention the overly complicated storyline...and I even collected around 80 of the manuscript pages. The only reason I finished it was so that I'd never have to play it again.

I love my Genesis (still have it in my room at home), but it doesn't fit properly into the cable jack on my TV, so at random points it'll cut out and I won't be able to see what's going on.
