No. I think the Oilers started that. We were the first to visit the White House I believe. Though who knows if we would have been the first, we were the only American winners from 1984-1993!


Your correct Mikey. The Oilers in 87-88 were the first to take a team picture right after winning the Cup and the Pens were the first to take the Cup to the WH.
