Mount Royal has a great view of the city and some nice walking trails. If you're a foodee, go to one of the markets. Atwater market is the one I've been too. Lots of good specialty meats and cheeses. Biodome is pretty cool. St. Catherine St is where you'll find lots of shopping as well as the strip clubs. Better off finding restaurants in Old Montreal though.

That's so funny to me that this is a selling point. After 15 years in Los Angeles, I guess I'm just used to going to Raplh's or Von's or even Whole Foods and picking that night's dinner vino.
