Absolutely no **** clue how you uphold that call on replay review. BULL ****

Haha, probably. I mean honestly, that was an absolutely crystal clear overturn. It's hard for me to think there wasn't some directive from the Big Ten or NCAA there. It was THAT egregious

this officiating is hilarious. 2 minutes later you throw the flag.

Guess they had to talk it over, but it looked like the right call to me.

I love the fact that the commentators aren't letting that die. That may be the worst call we see all year...except for the 'holding' called on the OSU punt.

Intentional grounding was a good call but the fumble was an absolute joke.

He was 2 yards outside the tackle box. Close enough to let it go.

Time for an 80 yard drive and play through the calls.

I could care less about PSU football. And even I will say they were robbed of a touchdown. That was a horrid call and explanation for callling it a fumble.

I fully expected Nebraska to come back yesterday (just look at their history this season), but that non-TD call was lolbad.

I actually thought it was the right call. As the PSU player started to extend the ball, around the 2 yrd line, he obviously lost control. He instead starting pushing the ball toward the goal line, following the ball's momentum. To me, it look like he lost control as he went to transfer the ball to his two hands.

here's the replay in gif form. you can pretty clearly see the player has control and the ball is moving forward then pretty much at the goal line the knee hits the ball and knocks it loose. it's a TD.

This play isn't the reason they lost.

They would have won if it wasn't for that play, they made an immediate defensive stop after that drive, then they would have ran out the clock.

No one is saying that...but wow, really? That play is ruled correctly, 30-27 with 7 minutes or so left, and their defense had shut down Nebraska after a rough third. Instead, it's 27-23 and Nebraska gets the ball at the 20, and proceeds to bomb a punt down to the 2.

I know they let the game go after the half, but you can most certainly look at that blown call as the key factor in the end.

Funny how you say 'no one is saying that' then you go ahead and say it...

Penn State had two possessions after this and couldn't move the football. Nebraska scored 24 points on offense in the second half, and only 3 of them came after this play; a meaningless field goal at the end of the game. You can blame the refs, but this is the latest in a series of letdowns this year. If your key factor between winning and losing is one play, you didn't have much of a chance anyway.

I'm curious as to what kind of play would be a reason why they lost in any game ever if that's not one.
