Watching "The Voice"

I called Terry Mcdermott to win, 10 minutes into the first episode.

If he doesn't Trevin Hunte will win which I disagree with but I will respect.

If neither doesn't it will be a travesty.

I havent watched it but even seeing the commercials last night BEFORE the results, you just knew it wasnt really a complete episode yet. Just a brilliant show

Anyone else watching Survivor?

I've been (although still at work, have to watch tonight).

As for Jeff Kent, yeah, no one knows who he is yet. There was one girl that did, and she continually just poke in conversations that baseball players weren't real athletes, but she got voted off like the 3rd episode, and didn't tell anyone who he was.

Only one or two people know Blair from Facts of Life as well. The one older guy (can't remember his name, he is one of the returning cast) knows who she is, and they openly talk about it when they are alone, but none of the younger people do.

This is the first season I've watched of this since like season 8.

i dont know what about this season got me back into it, but im in a similar boat where i havent watched it in 10 or so seasons but im watching this one.

When your power goes out for a week, you get a good gauge on what shows you don't really care about. For instance, I have no desire to go find last week's office. Surprisingly, I don't really feel like watching HIMYM either.

On the other hand, FX is trolling me by not showing reruns of always sunny or the league. Blargh.

That's unfortunate because there have been some REALLY good seasons since then.

I wish they would show reruns of past seasons. They used to do that on Gameshow Network years ago.

I thought it was one of the better ones of this season. I still don't know the whole Andy/what's her name (the receptionist) aspect.

I started laughing my butt off when Dwight was on the fake radio phone call sitting in his tshirt and underwear, and you see in the background Kevin sitting in his tshirt and underwear eating a snack from the vending machine.

Kevin is now my favorite.

I really enjoyed that episode. I thought all 5 sessions were great. One of the better episodes in a while.
