Being forced to watch a movie about Vampires and it doesn't even have Abraham Lincoln in it. LAME!

"Take This Waltz." Ugh. Just not good at all. Michelle Williams is fantastic in it (even though her character sucks), but the movie just sucks. Even if you're a big fan of her, I'd exercise caution -- a couple real cringe-worthy scenes, most of which avoid the guy she flirts with, who might be an even more worthless of a character. It's a shame to waste a performance as great as hers on a movie that's just not at all worth watching.

In honor of the Prince thread, I watched a couple one-name titles last night. Both were Saw rips.

Vile. Somewhat interesting, but couldn't escape schlock.

Die. Very Saw-like, pretty interesting, but the main villain wasn't compelling enough.

Lol. I was debating between those 2 and Dread. Decided on Dread. So far so good....

My favorite Bond girl and one of the most beautiful and amazing women of all time. It's one thing to be good looking, but to also be so very sexy. Raw animal passion. (grabbing heart)

I'm very confident in typing this and I stand behind this. Quentin Tarantino is a genius and Pulp Fiction is incredible.

Be it 1994 or 2012....this movie is still better then all of the glittery vampires, 007, or whatever.

I wish they'd do either more Grindhouse movies, or re-release them in theaters.

Choose. Meh. Had potential but ultimately just didn't make sense, just like Milan Kraft.

Sky Fall. I liked it but,

Spoiler:
For some reason the whole M betrayed me I'm coming after her then she dies anyway main story was silly. All that work for nothing. The Asian girl meant nothing to the story line except for being eye candy. I get the whole moving Bond into the modern day thing but overall the story was pretty meh. I did really like the villian and how he was played (although it seemed like MGM said, "Make us a Bond film that feels like the Batman films.") but for all that was made of the technology vs. old school in the movie the guy couldn't just send some missiles to blow up Sky Fall once he knew that's where they were... Eh I'm probably being too picky about the story line for a Bond film.

Recently watched Life is Beautiful for the 10th time. To me, it's as uplifting as it is sad--maybe moreso. I love it so much that I don't mind the subtitles in the least.

Got around to finally watch Safety Not Guaranteed. It was okay, but the ending left things completely unresolved and bothered me a bit.

Life Force was crazy awesome, no problems with that vampire alien chick walking around naked for most of the movie.
Iron Sky was different than I thought it would be, I liked it.
Amazing spiderman was good I think, I feel like going back and doing the origins thing didn't really do much for me, they could have just made a spiderman movie with everything already established.
watched a documentary on David Geffen on PBS last night, it was pretty fascinating.

Really want to see Life of Pi this weekend, but I think the old lady and I settled on "Flight" with Denzel, anyone see?
