Are there any insurance agents on this board? Does an insurance agent hate when you ask for a quote and don't purchase their insurance? Specifically auto insurance

A friend of mine owns his own State Farm office and I asked him the same thing once. He said it takes maybe 2 minutes to get a quote so it didn't bother him at all. Giving a quote is the first step in their sales process so they have to do it regardless.

I'm constantly bugging my parents friend who is an insurance agent for quotes:renters atv auto etc. And I've only ever bought renters, which is 8 dollars a month. Her prices are sometimes lower but I just like to check

Another question. Anyone have radiator heat? I have 3 rooms I don't use and thinking about cutting the heat to them. Is his doable?

Do you mean permanently or short-term?
When we lived in Pittsburgh, our house had radiator heat and it was cut off (permanently to 3 of the rooms).

I mean for the winter season. I'm not sure if it's a big circular system though. I would think shutting one off would cause a roadblock.

If you have the floor radiators with the flaps, you can close the flaps to the rooms you don't need heat and it pumps more heat to the rooms that have the flaps opened

Huh? That's a vent isn't it? This radiator is huge, like a block of pipe 4 feet wide by 2 feet tall

Also, get a radiator key and bleed the ones in use.
You will notice a difference in efficiency.

There are 2 knobs on each side, from my research one is a bleeder the other is a shutoff. I see 2 main lines coming off the furnace which makes me tink I have 2 "loops" so shutting one radiator off might not be an option.
