Chicago is a lot like Phily with the way they boo their own team\players.

Koch, the Ravens' punter, ran slightly to his left and went untouched into the end zone. He said he didn't notice if the Raiders were upset.
"Not that I know of," Koch said. "I was too busy doing high-fives and spiking the ball."

What a punt return....not often you see someone go right up the sideline, seemingly trapped, and get through the entire team

If they are expecting more eyes over the course of the week, it's not working with me.
Unless it is the Stillers on Thursday, I don't even bother to tune in....It's not like there isn't enough football on already on Saturday and Sunday.

At a certain point, too much is too much.

Agreed. Also, the short week makes injuries much more likely since the players have much less time to recover from the beating they took in the previous game.

For anyone who pays attention to when I post (probably just PFIDC, Rylan, and occasionally TWC):

You'll recall I talked about the guy who works for us that started the SaveOurChiefs movement. To date, they have generated well over 100k Twitter followers and over 13k FB fans. This weekend, they are staging their "Blackout Arrowhead" day. The goal was to get as many people as possible wearing black (Chiefs) gear to the game to show their dismay with the franchise, mainly the leadership (Pioli and Crennell). Typically the stands are full or red and white. It's been interesting watching things go down on FB b/c they are attacked by people saying they are "bad" fans, and they have been very mature as a group to say "no, we are all great fans, many of us season ticket holders, who just want change and a better on field product."

Not sure if it will be televised, but I'm interested to see how prevalent the black is in the stands this week. I'll def see pics on their FB, but it's pretty interesting to watch. There literally hasn't been a single team fan movement like this before, and it's pretty cool seeing it from the back end as well as what is out in public.

I remember that story bhaw. Wasn't there something about a plane flying overhead with a banner earlier?

They've done that multiple times with the money people have donated. They flew one around KC all day today promoting the blackout thing. I haven't asked how much money they have currently banked, but they have stated publicly that as soon as Pioli is fired, all excess funds will go to a Chiefs charity.

Stats of note: they have more Twitter followers and FB fans than the Chiefs themselves. I told the guy who started it that he will probably be in the Chiefs' PR department when this is all done with.

Holy crap that is awesome. Maybe had I been slightly older I could have created a revolution for the Pirates. I have a new goal.
