For anyone who pays attention to when I post (probably just PFIDC, Rylan, and occasionally TWC):
You'll recall I talked about the guy who works for us that started the SaveOurChiefs movement. To date, they have generated well over 100k Twitter followers and over 13k FB fans. This weekend, they are staging their "Blackout Arrowhead" day. The goal was to get as many people as possible wearing black (Chiefs) gear to the game to show their dismay with the franchise, mainly the leadership (Pioli and Crennell). Typically the stands are full or red and white. It's been interesting watching things go down on FB b/c they are attacked by people saying they are "bad" fans, and they have been very mature as a group to say "no, we are all great fans, many of us season ticket holders, who just want change and a better on field product."
Not sure if it will be televised, but I'm interested to see how prevalent the black is in the stands this week. I'll def see pics on their FB, but it's pretty interesting to watch. There literally hasn't been a single team fan movement like this before, and it's pretty cool seeing it from the back end as well as what is out in public.
